The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) represents a significant overhaul of data protection laws in Europe since the EU Data Protection Directive (Directive 95/46/EC) was introduced in 1995. Enforceable since May 25, 2018, the GDPR enhances the security and protection of personal data within the European Union, providing a unified legal framework for data protection across all EU member states. It has replaced the previous EU Data Protection Directive and all related local laws.

Nebul fully supports the GDPR and ensures that all our services comply with its provisions. We recognize that the GDPR is a crucial step in safeguarding the fundamental right to privacy for European citizens. Moreover, the regulation has elevated standards for data protection, security, and compliance within our industry.

In alignment with GDPR requirements, Nebul commits to:

  • Transparency: Providing clear and transparent information about how we collect, use, and protect personal data.
  • Data Subject Rights: Respecting and facilitating the rights of data subjects, including the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and data portability.
  • Security: Implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data.
  • Accountability: Maintaining comprehensive records of data processing activities and conducting regular data protection impact assessments.
  • Compliance: Continuously monitoring and updating our practices to comply with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.

Our European Ambition

Nebul’s commitment to GDPR compliance is an integral part of our broader ambition to create a European Hyperscale cloud that embodies European values on privacy and compliance. We believe in fostering a digital ecosystem that prioritizes the rights and freedoms of individuals, ensuring that privacy and data protection are at the core of our services.
